Lotus Flower. Why? What does the Lotus flower symbolise and how does it tell the story of the Jewish people

The Lotus flower's journey is also the journey of Israel, the jewish people. One of  darkness to light, from muddy waters to blooming clean and bright.A strong metaphor for rising above  adversity and difficult circumstances. Blooming during daylight,  It returns to the murky waters at night then as sunrise arrives it blooms once again. It is a symbolism of beauty, enlightenment, rebirth, resilience and hope

I chose  bold colours and lots of texture to express  positivity, simcha and the moving forwards of  this extraordinary land and its people
